Our Capri Button Down is inspired by the iconic tropical shirt of the French Riviera, favored by legendary actors and artists in the jet setting 1960's. Its unique comfort and versatility helped these early influencers stylishly navigate the tropical heat, taking them from beach to bistro with cool comfort and sophistication.
We've reinterpreted this go-to shirt with an eye toward modern quality and Cr̩mieux's timeless French design. Hand cut, hand-sewn, and hand-ironed in Italy with 350 separate cut-and-sew operations, this shirt is truly a work of art: constructed from the highest quality Italian cotton knit fabric, with elegant mother of pearl buttons made from Australian choice #1 oyster shell, the Capri Button Down calling card is its innovative one-piece collar design, engineered to keep the collar standing up in the perfect position without adding any artificial stiffness or support.
