GREY HANDMADE PIQUE KNIT SHIRT
The Story
This shirt was inspired by the traditional tropical shirt of the French Riviera, favored by legendary actors and artists in the 1960's because of its unique comfort and practicality in the heat of the tropics. We reinterpreted the shirt with an eye toward modern quality and French design.
Our Cuba Button Down is made from the highest quality Italian cotton knit fabric, with a one-piece collar design engineered to keep the collar standing up correctly in the perfect position all of the time without adding any artificial stiffness or support. It is the ultimate shirt in construction, hand feel, and comfort, finished with elegant mother of pearl buttons made from Australian choice #1 oyster shell.
Hand cut, hand-sewn and hand ironed in Italy with 350 separate hand operations, this shirt is a work of art. Offered in an array of pastel colors that blend perfectly with a warm weather environment.
